CRE tenders
Solar panels with carbon footprint for CRE tenders
Jinko Solar modules with simplified carbon assessment, to apply to the PPE2 tenders of the French Energy Regulatory Commission.
Why the carbon footprint matters
In CRE tenders, the modules’ carbon footprint is both an eligibility condition and a scoring criterion. A better-rated module improves your bid ranking.
The assessment covers the PV laminate: inverters, cables, mounting and frames are not counted. The producer must provide a compliance certificate signed by an accredited inspection body.
- Eligibility threshold: below 550 kg CO2 eq/kWp (ground plants)
- Unit: kg CO2 equivalent per kilowatt-peak
- Scope: manufacturing of module components only
Jinko references with carbon footprint
| Reference | Power | Connectors |
|---|---|---|
| JKM590N-72HL4-BDV | 590 Wc | JK03M, JK03M2 or MC4 EVO2 |
| JKM715N / JKM735N-66HL5M-BDV | 715 – 735 Wc | MC4 EVO2 |
The exact carbon value appears on the certificate of each batch. Request it before submitting your application.
Frequently asked questions
What is the simplified carbon assessment (ECS)?
It measures the greenhouse gas emissions from manufacturing the module, in kg CO2 equivalent per kWp. Only the production phase is counted.
Which threshold applies?
The CRE tender specification for ground-mounted plants sets a threshold below 550 kg CO2 eq/kWp. Always check the specification of your application period.
Do you provide the certificates?
Yes, references labelled “carbon footprint” come with the manufacturer’s supporting documents. Ask for them with your quote.
